Finding my Voice

I have been making jewellery for almost 10 years now. In actuality that’s not very long in this industry. I realized a long time ago that I will never learn everything there is to learn about my trade. I think that’s one of the things that attracted me to becoming a Goldsmith. It’s so challenging and there is SO much to learn.
Since I started my business I have had 3 websites each with their own style. I’ve just launched #4 and I feel like I’ve finally found my voice. I think when I first started I had no idea what to expect or what to do so I went with something very safe. Everything was black! As time has progressed and I have learned more about who I am as an artist and who I am trying to be I was finally able to really express myself in a genuine manner. This new website reflects a lot about what I want from my business and the direction I want to go over the next few years. I want my business to be based on personal relationships. I want long lasting relationships with my customers. I’m very proud of this new website. It showcases my current product lines and highlights some of the techniques I specialize in. I am particularly pleased with the growth in my customized and repurposed jewellery work. I hope It shows how far I’ve come since I first started. I have a clear direction of my path and the future is bright!
