Description

This is my Amethyst Silver Slider from my Granulation Collection.

This gorgeous round granulated Amethyst Slider is made in Argentium Silver and set with an 8mm Bufftop Amethyst (a Cabochon stone that is faceted on the bottom), and threaded onto silver snake chain.

This design is available in other stones. (Price varies based on stone selected).

Granulation

Granulation is one of the oldest jewellery design techniques dating back to 2500 BC. Granulation is the ancient technique of fusing small spheres of silver or gold onto a piece of jewellery to form a decorative element without the use of solder. It is an extremely time-consuming, labour intensive process.

Argentium Silver

At Bliss Jewellery, I exclusively use Argentium Silver in all of my jewellery pieces. Argentium Silver contains more fine silver than traditional Sterling Silver and is whiter, brighter, and more tarnish resistant.
